If the customer is not satisfied with the service provided by Microwerx within the first 30 days of initiating their account (i.e., the date the order is placed), the customer is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for the service. The refunded amount will include any term payment as well as set-up fees and additional services. The refunded amount will not include any physical materials supplied by Microwerx, including, but not limited to, software and dial-up fees.
Software, if it is ordered by or supplied to the customer, is not covered under the same conditions as services provided by Microwerx. To protect software designers and manufacturers from software piracy (theft of software by electronic means), retailers in general will not provide a refund policy for software that has been released from the place of purchase. Microwerx will follow by these same, industry-standard guidelines. Exceptions to this will only be noted in the case of defective software. Any software that the customer believes to be defective must be reported and returned to Microwerx. Replacement software, of the same version, will be provided to the customer if the original software is found to be defective by Microwerx. All software provided by Microwerx can only be used on Microwerx servers and may not be transferred off of the server except for local backup of one copy.
